In-Class Projects:
The student's art projects will be tailored to the student's preference, Comics, Manga, Realism, Marvel, DC, and technical drawing for those students that like to draw cars and planes.
Multiple projects:
We’d like for all camp participants to create art in different mediums; however, if the student doesn’t want to paint with Posca acrylic markers on Canvas, it’s perfectly alright, if the student prefers traditional drawing with pencil, ink, and colored pencils, the student can have a choice of projects to choose from.
Art projects timeframe:
Some projects will take longer than others. It is important to know that we encourage the students not to rush, it is the foundation of good art, to take our time and draw slowly and make the effort to draw clean lines, and that’s done smoothly and slowly. No pressure art, no competition.
Single and multiple-week students.
We will be alternating projects every day and every week to keep the students engaged, we will be including fun painting projects, students will get to paint on a small canvas using Posca acrylic markers and it is intended for all styles, this is going to be a lot of fun.
Our Mission:
We want all students attending the Art Summer Camp to have a wonderful art experience and get to take home awesome Art projects. We want our students to learn new drawing techniques, create artwork with different mediums, be creative, use their imagination, make new friends, and above all have fun.
Yours sincerely
David & the Weston Art Academy Team
