Terms & Conditions

A few things to note before you register and book your classes.

• Your annual registration fee reserves a student place at the Weston Art Academy for 12 calendar months. It does not guarantee places will be available at classes until the class fees are paid.

• Class fees have to be paid for in advance. Once payment has been received, we will acknowledge your payment and class confirmation. Fees shown are exclusive of tax.

 

• For remote classes we will issue an online invitation for each class. For security reasons the log in changes each week.

​​

• All sales are final. No refunds are given. At our discretion we may offer a "make up" class where available.

​

• A minimum 30 day notice period is required for any class cancellations.

​​

• Due to reasons beyond our control, classes may be subject to cancellation at short notice. We will inform you of this at the earliest opportunity and issue a class credit.

​​

• Classes will start on time and cannot be delayed for any reason.

​​

• Both remote and studio classes are live with professional qualified Instructors. We will always do our best to ensure the safety and comfort of all students at all times. However, we cannot be held responsible in the unlikely event offensive language or content may be communicated by other students during a class. Students join all classes at their own risk.

• We reserve the right to suspend teaching and remove any student from the class that shows unacceptable, abusive or threatening behavior. This includes throwing objects in class, verbal profanity and inappropriate dress code given the age of our students.

• You connect to our remote classes at your own risk and ensure you have suitable anti-virus protection on any devices you are using.

​

• We may take photographs or video of students during classes. These may be live or remote screen shots. We will always ask students permission first. Where a student agrees, you give us permission to use these on our website, and other marketing materials and social media channels which may be publicly visible. Students faces may be shown.. Please contact us if you have any questions regarding this.

• Please note our studios have live CCTV cameras operational for security and safety purposes. Please contact us if you have any questions regarding this.

​​

• Should any student fall ill during a studio class we will contact the person and number shown on the registration form. Should we not be able to  make contact, you authorize us to contact any local emergency service and follow whatever instructions are offered by that service. This may include, but not be exclusive to the transportation of the student to a medical facility. The Weston Art Academy, it's Directors and staff will not be held liable for any actions taken,  medication or assistance administered to a student, or the costs incurred with such medication or transportation to a medical facility.

• As a blanket waiver all students attend our classes at their own risk. We do not accept any liability whatsoever for any student that injures themselves whilst in-class or on the building premises, or becomes ill (cold, flu, Covid-19) subsequent to attending one of our classes.
